Marketing Assistant

Part-Time Virtual Assistant Wanted w/Flexible Schedule 

Are you the type of person that’s resourceful and can tackle problems thrown your way? Do you love to figure out the most efficient way to execute a project while digging into the smallest details?

The Allen Digital Group is an e-learning consultancy based in Houston, Texas. We specialize in helping companies and service professionals create, market, and sell online courses. As a company, we realize that every position is directly connected to the success of our clients. What we’ve built so far is pretty awesome, and we’re growing, quickly.

We’re looking for a self-driven Virtual Assistant who can take a little direction and run with a project. The right candidate will act as our “right-hand person” and help us take our business to the next level.

You can work from home and this position can be done on your own hours with some exceptions. To start, you can expect to work part-time with the goal of increasing that based on fit and performance. While in this role, you’ll also be learning all about online course launches, social media, email marketing, and more.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of working as a Virtual Assistant or relevant experience
  • Experience with or knowledge of online marketing
  • Familiarity with using YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook

Have experience with the following systems? It’s a PLUS:

  • ActiveCampaign
  • GSuite (mail, docs, drive, calendar)
  • WordPress
  • Canva

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing social media…especially YouTube
  • Creating simple graphics for marketing campaigns
  • Setting up/scheduling email campaigns
  • Managing company blog
  • Assisting in repurposing content
  • Researching media opportunities
  • Calendar management
  • Assist with live video and training
  • Support the CEO in all marketing-related tasks

  • A quiet homework environment, including: a computer, cell phone, reliable high-speed internet
  • Works well with other people and can build rapport quickly with team members, vendors, contractors, clients, and key people from other organizations

This is an independent contractor position (not an employment position)—you are responsible for your own office, equipment (computer/ printer), and resources.

Hours: Part-time (to start)
Pay: $15-$20 per hour

The Marketing Assistant position will have a strong pulse on the business, staying in the know on top priorities, while focusing on the specific action items that keep the business moving forward on a daily basis.
